On 22 October 2025 in Zurich and on 24 October 2025 in Meyrin, Switzerland, four masterclasses were held focusing on the perfect pairing between Prosecco DOC and Grana Padano PDO, hosted at the city locations of the Luigia restaurant chain.
Organised in collaboration with Gambero Rosso, the masterclasses offered food & beverage professionals the opportunity to take part in a unique tasting experience, exploring the characteristics of three different types of Prosecco DOC paired with Grana Padano PDO aged 16 and 20 months.
Led by Marzio Taccetti, Coordinator of the Vini d’Italia guide by Gambero Rosso, the masterclasses provided participants with an in-depth look at both products, highlighting their versatility and pairing potential.
The events welcomed professionals from the food and wine sector, including restaurateurs, buyers, and importers, who were eager to discover new pairings and deepen their knowledge of these iconic products, further strengthening the connection between European excellence and the Swiss food and wine scene.
