Next Generation PRO Association
The NEXT GENERATION PRO Association was founded in March 2023 and consists of three representative organisations of organic production and quality branded products, such as Prosecco DOC: the Bio-district of the Euganean Hills, the Bio-district of central-eastern Venice, the Consortium for the Protection of Prosecco DOC.
Bio-district of the Euganean Hills
Founded in November 2015, it is inspired by principles related to the production of organic wine and the search for the conservation of biodiversity and natural heritage of the Euganean area. Today it is composed of organic producers, the Consortium for the Protection of Colli Euganei Wines and local associations and bodies.
Bio-district of central-eastern Venice
Founded in 2016 thanks to the will of organic farmers and citizens, increasingly interested in debates on sustainability and the protection of health and the environment, the bio-district aims to be a model of eco-sustainable development based on the involvement of local communities and a strongly participatory model.
Consortium for the Protection of Prosecco DOC
The Consortium for the Protection of Prosecco DOC is the body recognised by the Ministry of Agricultural Policy to carry out activities promoting, valorising and protecting the Prosecco Designation of Controlled Origin. It was established on 19th November 2009, a few months after Prosecco was recognised as a Designation of Controlled Origin, which took place on 17th July 2009. It voluntarily brings together the different categories of producers – winegrowers, winemakers and sparkling wine producers. Prosecco DOC is an Italian excellence, an expression of a well-defined territory, which extends between Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

Prosecco DOC is the sparkling wine with a Designation of Origin which is most consumed in the world.
